Rep. Watson Coleman Statement on Passing of Plainfield Firefighter Marques Hudson
Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman released the following statement on the passing of Plainfield Firefighter Marques Hudson:
I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Plainfield Firefighter Marques Hudson who passed away this morning after injuries he suffered while responding to a house fire on Emerson Avenue. The tragic loss of Firefighter Hudson is one that has been felt across District 12 and throughout our state - and is a solemn reflection of the dangers our first responders face while protecting us every day.
Marques Hudson will be remembered for his bravery and for his commitment to serving his community. I extend my deepest sympathies to his three children and his family during this heartbreaking time. His loved ones and the Plainfield community will be in my prayers.
