For $1 million, a foreign national can buy a Trump Gold Card that grants them permanent residency - expedited, no less. Corporations can pay $2 million for the same for their employees. The administration is already marketing a $5 million “Platinum Card,” which would let wealthy foreigners spend up to 270 days a year in the U.S. without paying taxes on their overseas income. This gross pay-to-play tactic is designed to reward the global elite while locking out working families and small businesses. Turns out, this administration is very much for -expedited- open borders, for the right price. America, once known to welcome “your tired, your poor, your huddled masses,” is being marketed into an auction for the ultra wealthy - and as with all of Trump’s personal money-making schemes, the American taxpayer likely won’t see a dime of this revenue.
