Rep. Watson Coleman, DOT Secretary Buttigieg visit Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing
Ewing, NJ (April 12, 2023) - Today, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ-12) met with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Pete Buttigieg to tour the Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN) in Ewing and discuss the modernization of the facility that has been operational since 1929. Trenton-Mercer Airport is one of three commercial airports in New Jersey, and contributes hundreds of millions of dollars to the local economy.
“It’s an honor to welcome Secretary Buttigieg to the 12th District to tour one of the facilities that will see the direct benefits of the Biden Administration’s promise to rebuild our country’s outdated infrastructure," said Watson Coleman. "New Jersey has long been a commuter and transportation hub, and all who live and work in our great state should have access to reliable transportation and updated and safe facilities that meet their needs.”
