Message to America Protecting Women's Access to Quality Healthcare by Rep Watson Coleman

As the first African American Woman to represent New Jersey in Congress, know that I’m fighting for every woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions, without the interference of politicians or anyone else. I am proud to stand with the Congressional Black Caucus to work on honest solutions to improve the health of all Americans, especially Black women. There are so many issues for Congress to get to work on – issues like restoring the Voting Rights Act, or making much needed changes to our criminal justice system and the ways in which those who have served their time return to society. Limiting women’s access to healthcare shouldn’t be on the agenda.
