Rep. Watson Coleman Delivers $405,000 to South Brunswick for Public Library Expansion Project
Today, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ-12) joined the South Brunswick Public Library Foundation in celebrating the library’s upcoming renovation. The Congresswoman, who serves on the House Appropriations Committee, secured $405,000 for the library as part of the fiscal year 2022 federal funding bill.
“As the only Appropriations Committee member from New Jersey, I’m committed to bringing my constituents’ federal tax dollars right back home,” said Watson Coleman. “This year, I delivered more than $7 million for projects that will benefit communities across the 12th District, including South Brunswick.”
“Libraries are gateways to education, history, and truth,” Watson Coleman continued. “Every community deserves a place to gather, share knowledge, and gain cultural awareness. Thanks to this renovation, South Brunswick residents will have the opportunity to enjoy everything their local library has to offer for generations to come.”
The library renovation is one of ten community projects in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District to receive federal funding in fiscal year 2022. These projects include a medical training lab, a public art installation, infrastructure restoration, and more.
